Busy-ness and Kindness Outreach

Okay... I haven't blogged in over a month. I wanted to get something on today or else I wouldn't have anything posted for the month of July. So here it is.

We have been so incredibly busy at the church. Currently I am serving as interim pastor, this has definitely increased the work load. Here's a little look at the work-week:
  • Monday: Day Off
  • Tuesday: Study in the morning at church, discipleship in the afternoon, currently studying Evangelism Explosion in the evening
  • Wednesday: Study in the morning at church, visitation in the afternoon, prayer service in the evening at which time we are also teaching various classes (ie. evangelism, giftedness, cell training).
  • Thursday: Mission prayer or mentoring relatioship with Paraguayan pastor in the morning, preparation for cell and/or Friday's class, Cell group in the evening, later in the evening preparing for Friday morning's class.
  • Friday: Teaching class at a local seminary in the morning, Study and discipleship relationship in the afternoon, Discipleship relationship in the evening.
  • Saturday: Community outreach and/or work at the church in the morning, Flexible afternoon, Youth cell meeting in the evening.
  • Sunday: Service in the morning, Baptism class in the afternoon (we currently have at least 5!), Visitation in the evening.
Many times I'm searching for times to translate/prepare studies or sermons.

Please pray that God would give us the strength that we need during these busy times.

Here is a recent look at a work-night at the church and an outreach in the community we held. One of the ladies we reached out to, and who consequently accepted Christ, is 103 years old.
